Features and Use of the Tablet

• It is used for treatment of extreme pain. It is a combination of opioid (hydrocodone) and non-opioid formulation (acetaminophen).
• The Hydrocodone part of the tablet helps in relieving pain by controlling the brain and central nervous system. It creates a change in chemicals in the cerebrum.
• It is used for treating back ache, inflammation and even cough. The combination together helsp in blocking nerve cell receptors and blocks pain.
• The hydrocodone has narcotic impact and hence overdose can cause euphoria effect and hence has tendency to be abused.

There has been increased rate of addiction and abuse and overdose from the medicine can cause lethal impact. The overdose can cause symptoms like abdominal pain, shallow breathing, nausea, loss of appetite, increased heartbeat, sweating, dark urine color, vomiting, yellow eyes and in extreme overdose situation cause coma or even death.

Side Effect of the Medicine

Some of the most common side effect caused by the consumption of the tablet are dizziness, nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, and constipation. These are normal side effects, but it can even cause some serious side effects like breathing difficulty, swelling around face or throat, hives, confusion, anxiety, low appetite, skin redness or rash.

At times it can cause intense reactions like seizures, black out, extreme fatigue or tiredness, trouble staying awake etc. Never mix the medicine with alcohol as it can cause lethal impact. Store the medicine at room temperature, low humidity condition, and away from high intensity light.
